This is a kitchen and utility room extension project we were asked to design. As with all projects we work hard with our Clients to seek the best possible solution to their requirements while keeping an eye on their budget. We first had confirmation that Planning Permission was not needed (under the Permitted Development rules). As with all kitchen extensions careful consideration has to be given with drainage connections and how this impacts on the kitchen fit out. A successful solution was found to connect to the existing above ground drainage so as not to end up with expensive ground works and laying underground drains. A very cost effective building design was the result and within budget.
